2006 (Freshman): Had a career high three kills with a hitting percentage of 1.000 vs. Wagner (10/8)…Hit for a .667 vs. Texas A&M with two kills on three attempts during the Colorado State Hilton Classic (8/26)...Made her first appearance as a Lady Bear in the season opener against Missouri State (8/25) in the opening round of the Colorado State Hilton Classic and finished with two kills and a block.

High School: Was a three-sport letterwinner in volleyball, outdoor track and basketball at Lafayette High…Lettered for three years in volleyball and earned second-team All-District honors as a senior…Served as a tri-captain for the Rams during her senior year, finishing with 162 kills, 29 aces, 220 digs and 84 blocks…Was coached by Ray Scott…Helped the track team to two Bay Rivers District championships during her sophomore and senior seasons and a league and second-place regional finish as a junior…Coached by Mel Jones…Was a member of the National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society and Who’s Who among American high school students…Participated in Project Reachout, the key club and the Student Shared Leadership Council.

Personal: Born Aug. 6, 1988, in Williamsburg, Va….Daughter of Christine and Robert Armstead…Major is architecture…Athletic goal is to improve her skills and be an asset to the program…Hobbies include reading, driving and being active in playing any sport…Has volunteered her time with the James City County Youth Advisory Council and registering voters…Also serves as a usher at her church.
