Biography

Sophomore (2007): Started in all 36 games she played, finishing with a batting average of .229…Totaled 15 runs, 24 hits, 17 RBIs and eight walks…Went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI to help Morgan State eliminate MEAC power, Bethune-Cookman from the league tournament, following an 18-3 thumping of the Wildcats (5/12)…Was 1-for-3 with a run, two RBIs, while hitting her first collegiate homerun in a MEAC Round-up victory over South Carolina State (4/15)…Put together a 3-for-4 outing with a run and RBI at George Mason (3/11)…Drove in a season-high three RBIs on 2-of-4 hitting, including a triple in the season-opener at South Carolina State (2/17)…Made two appearances at pitcher, going 1-0 with a team-leading ERA of 2.45…Threw four strikeouts in her lone victory over Coppin State (4/5).

Freshman (2006): Started in all 39 games and had a .263 batting average…Led the team in doubles with 10 and was second in at bats (118) and hits (31)…Recorded a team-leading 7.41 ERA as a pitcher and ranked second in strikeouts (41) and wins with three…Finished with a season-high three hits with two runs scored and an RBI at UMES (4/29)…Threw a career-high 10 strikeouts against UMES (4/28)…Went 2-for-3 with two doubles versus Coppin State (4/20)…Was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a double against North Carolina A&T at the MEAC Round-Up (4/9)…Had a 2-for-4 hitting performance with two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored against Hampton (3/25)…Improved to 2-0 as a pitcher by striking out seven batters in six innings of work in a 9-2 victory over UMES (3/17) at the Hampton Tournament…Earned her first collegiate victory as a pitcher at Virginia State (2/19).

High School: Was a three-sport athlete for St. Lucy’s Priory High School…Was selected First-Team All-League in softball and basketball…As a switch-hitter she had a .425 batting average and a 2.00 ERA…Scored a career-high 28 points as a guard for the Regents…Won State Championship in Ohio for ASA Travel Team…Led softball squad to first-place finish in 2001, second-place in 2002, and a third-place finish in 2004 and 2005…Led her basketball team to a second-place finish in 2001 and 2002 and third in 2004…Earned basketball and softball Coaches Award and MVP honors…Was a two-year letterwinner in volleyball, helping the squad to a Division title.
