As a Sophomore in 2018: saw action in every game (11) ... finished the season with 10 tackles (7 solo) ... had a tackle for loss and one QB hurry ... recorded a pair of tackles vs. Towson (Sept. 1) and Florida A&M (Oct. 27) ... 

As a Freshman in 2017:  saw action in 10 games, started in three (South Carolina State, Savannah State and Howard) ... recorded seven tackles ... 

High School:  was a standout at Westlake High School under coach Marlon Curtis … recorded 108 tackles, two interceptions and four sacks during his senior season … had 101 tackles and four sacks as a junior … All-SMAC First Team selection… maintained to stay on honor roll throughout his high school career…

Personal: from Waldorf, MD … born February 26, 1997  … nickname  “Mont Moneyy”… son of Jokisha Armstrong and Joe Tansimore … has two siblings (Jasmine, 20) and (Danazi, 20) … mom works for Smeco and dad works for Comcast … construction management major …  chose Morgan State because of the engineering programs, he was very interested in engineering at first, until he changed his major to construction management ... after sports he plans on graduating and then getting a job in his field and planning on opening his own construction business ... lists Muhammad Ali as his biggest sports influence because he never doubted himself an was always confident in his skills ... enjoys laughing with his teammates.
