As a Senior in 2018: Phil Steele's Preseason All-MEAC Second Team ... preseason All-MEAC team ... Was voted as a captain by his teammates ... Was named the MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Week three times during the season ... He allowed just a single sack all year and helped lead the Bears offense to 3,250 total yards, including 1,812 yards on the ground ... He finished the season as an Third Team All-MEAC selection ... became just the first MSU player in school history ever to compete in the East-West Shrine game ...

Did not play in 2017:

As a Junior in 2016: started in every game (11) ... blocked for a Bears offense that gained 3,089 total yards, with 1,319 yards on the ground and 1,770 in the air ... 

As a Sophomore in 2015: started in seven of nine games played ... received his first start in the season-opener at Air Force ... aided a Bears offense that accumulated 3,292 yards of total offense, including 1,392 yards on the ground ... also paved the way for one of the league’s top ground gainers in Orlando Johnson (583 yards – Ranked No. 6 in MEAC) the Bears also ranked T-No. 3 in sacks allowed ... 

As a Freshman in 2014: provided depth on the O-Line 

High School: two-sport athlete at Western Tech HS … played three seasons of football for the Wolverines … Two-time All-Division selection (2012 and 2013) … was the team captain in the City versus County All-Star Game … holds the longest touchdown run by an O-Lineman in school history … also had the most interceptions by a lineman … played center on the basketball team …

Personal: son of Nancy Miles and Robert Harris … born January 4, 1996 in Baltimore, Md. … mother attended UMES … was a member of HS’s Black History Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes … spent a summer working as a lifeguard … enjoys attending church … credits his mother as the biggest influence on his life as an athlete.
