As a Freshman at Victor Valley College (2023): played in nine games .... collected 34 tackles (19 solo) ... 15 TFLs ... three sacks ... 
 
High School: Was a two-sport standout at Hesperia High … played three years on the football team ... collected 52 total tackles and 8 sacks ... added six catches for 125 yards, including 3 TDs ... on the football team ... was also a two-year member of the varsity basketball team ...  
 
Personal: son of Andrea Merrick and Darnell Lowe … born July 30, 2004 … goes by “Josh” ... business major ... expected to graduate December 2026 … his brother, Matt Lowe, also plays on the football team ... lists his mother as his biggest sports influence “because she took me to every sports practice or game and supported me every sport I played” ... his career ambition is to own a business and be successful ... chose to attend Morgan State because “when i went on my visit the campus was nice, it made me feel at home.
