As a Freshman at Victor Valley College (2023): played in nine games ... collected 34 tackles (19 solo) ... 15 TFLs ... three sacks ... 
 
High School: was a two-sport standout at Hesperia High … played three years on the football team ... recorded 60 total tackles, 10 sacks, 6 catches, 125 reception yards, 3 TDs ... was also a two-year member of the varsity basketball team ...  
Personal: son of Andrea Merrick and Darnell Lowe … born July 30, 2004 … goes by “Josh” … business & management major … he is expected to graduate May 2027 … his career ambition is to own and run a successful business and create opportunities through entrepreneurship … lists his mom as his biggest sports influence “because she supports me through every sport I play. She took me to every game/practice as well” … his brother, Matt Lowe, played for Morgan State (2023-2025) … chose to attend Morgan State “because when I went on my visit, the campus was nice, it made me feel at home. The culture here feels like a big family, plus my brother Matt was already here” … the athletic accomplishment he is most proud of is “making it to D1 after going to a JUCO out of high school with zero offers.
