As a Freshman (2023): Prevard had a sensational 2023 campaign in his first year at Morgan and shined as a key member to the Bears being one of the top defenses in the nation ... the rookie ended the season as the MEAC's leader in passes defended (8; T-No. 30 in FCS) with seven breakups, including an interception in a monumental victory at #16/18 Richmond in the season-opener ... he also added 22 tackles ... was selected to the 2023 FCS Freshman All-American ...

East Coast Prep (2022): spent a postgraduate season playing football for East Coast Prep … 

High School: was a two-sport prep athlete at St. Joseph Academy … … as a senior, he broke the school’s single season passing touchdown record  (18 TDs) and was named to the All-South Jersey team … also as a senior guard, he led the basketball team to state semifinals for the first time in 20 plus years and was selected All-South Jersey … he spent four seasons on the basketball team …

Personal: son of Natia Huckaby … born August 10, 2004 … his nickname is “JP” … expected to graduate December 2027 … his career ambition is to play in the NFL and have a real estate agency  ... lists his big brother, Ahmad, as his biggest sports influence “because of going to all his practices and private workouts - And all the work with my dad also played a big role” … chose to attend Morgan State “because I wanted to be apart of something special that is being grown here in the school and on the football team; Coach Wilson and the staff played a big role" ... the athletic accomplishment he is most proud of is “ recording six (6) interceptions in one season” … enjoys playing video games.
