Derrick Gros is an experienced cover-corner. He has good speed and is tremendous hitter.

Medical redshirt in 2003...

As a sophomore in 2002...Returns to the team having suffered an injury durning the 2002 season... before going down he was the best cover corner on the team... his great speed and technique will once again make him a hard defender for the opposing recivers to shake...

As a freshman in 2001... saw action in 9 games... was the team's second leading tackler with 52 tackles (29 solo)... recorded an interception and had two pass breakups.

A closer look... was a All-District performer for the Wildcat football team... led team to District Championship during his senior year... enjoys watching movies... nickname "Nolia Boy"... Born 6-12-81.
