As a True Freshman in 2007: helped the Bears become the #1 ranked pass defense in the nation...was selected as the team’s Rookie of the Year ... saw action in 10 games ... recorded 23 tackles (16 solo) with team-high three INTs ... had five pass breakups with two tackles for loss and a sack ...

A Closer Look: McKhan (pronounced mick-can) transferred from the University of Connecticut ... 

High School: he was named second-team All-Broward County by the Miami Herald and played in the prestigious Dade-Broward All-Star Game ... had nine career interceptions ... also returned two punts and two kickoffs for touchdowns ... helped Miramar to the 6A Regional Final before losing to eventual state runner-up Deerfield Beach ... also played starting guard on the Miramar basketball team …
