Personal: son of Belmaris and Daniel Casillas … born August 8, 2003 … health education major … expected to graduate December 2025 … his career objective is to "is to give back to communities and individuals that don't have the resources they need to live healthy lives. I want to create and implement programs designed to achieve those goals." … list Coach Chris as one of his biggest sports influences. "He’s like a second father to me, and from Day 1, he saw something in me that I couldn’t even see in myself. He took me under his wing, and we would train multiple days a week, and he would push me to places I didn’t know I could go. He is one of the biggest factors as to why I’m in the position I am today. I also have to say my parents. They sacrificed so much so I would be able to have the best equipment and gear as well as tacking me to practices and games, and without them I couldn’t be where I am at." ... chose to attend Morgan State "because they believed in me from the beginning. The moment I stepped on campus, it was a warm and welcoming environment. Everyone was very friendly, and it just felt like one big family that I wanted to be a part of." ... the athletic accomplishment he is most proud of "is the day I answered the phone from a Coach (Wilson) and I received my first collegiate offer to play football. That was a moment that I was dreaming about since I was a kid, and for that moment to finally happen, it just made all the workouts and camps, and practices all worth it." ... enjoys playing instruments - "My favorite is the piano, but I also play guitar. I also enjoy doing live sound production."
