Craig Nelson returns as the Bears starting tailback...He is a hard driving back who is capable of moving the pile and gaining tough yards up the middle...Has the ability to score from anywhere on the field...Tremendous vision...Explosive quickness...A noted cutback runner...Has enough power and strength to break tackles...Should push for postseason honors...As a senior in 2006...carried 15 times for 52 yards and caught a pass for 9 yards against Towson (9/2)...recorded eight carries for 27 yards at Monmouth...recorded seven carries for 49 yards, including a 41 yard run against Bowie State (9/16)... Nelson had eight carries for 18 yards against Hampton (9/23)...recorded 2 rushes for 52 yards (26 avg), including a 53 yard touchdown against Bethune Cookman (9/30)... Had 10 carries for a gain of 48 yards vs. N.C.
