Isaac Williams enters his second season as run game coordinator and offensive line coach at Morgan State.

Under Williams’ guidance in 2018, the Bears averaged nearly 170 yards rushing per game behind a formidable and tough offensive front. Williams is credited with the development of All-MEAC tackle Joshua Miles, who participated in the East-West Shrine game, took part in the NFL Scouting Combine and is looking to become the first Morgan State player drafted since Visanthe Shiancoe was drafted by the New York Giants in 2003.

Williams came to the Bears from the University of Northern Colorado where he was an offensive assistant, responsible for assisting the offensive line.

In his two seasons at UNC, the o-line was dominant, helping lead a rushing attack which was a Division I program-best. The Bears rushed for 1,781 yards, averaging 161.9 per game. It wasn't just setting the pace of the running game, the offensive line was also pristine in pass protection during Williams’ tenure, having the best sacks against season total since 2012 with 23.

He joined UNC as the defensive graduate assistant in 2016 from Clinton High School in Mississippi.

Williams has vast experience both as a player and a coach, at both the college and high school level.

A four-year starter at Alcorn State, Williams finished as an All-Conference player, a three-year team captain and graduated with honors, carrying over a 3.50 GPA.

He quickly got into the coaching game, working with the defensive line at Clinton High School and Sumner Hill Jr. High School. In just two seasons, Williams had already coached two top prospects and three All-Mississippi players.

In 2012, Williams joined the staff at Millsaps College and switched sides, coaching the offensive line for one season.

After that he joined the roster of the Laredo Rattlesnakes, an Arena Football Team and played a season as a defensive end and center. Williams, along with his teammates led the Rattlesnakes to the AFL’s best record in 2013.

Williams holds his Bachelor’s degree from Alcorn State in Nutrition Dietetics and a Master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado in Educational Leadership.

Williams is joined in Baltimore by his wife, the former Leonna Tyler.
