Moses Skillon completed 16-of-29 passes for season-high 211 yards, including a season-long 64-yard pass to redshirt senior wideout

Andrew King recorded led the Bears with 11 catches for a season high 211 yards, including a pair of touchdowns… one a 64-yard TD catch.
• Starting junior running back
Orlando Johnson had 61 yards (3.4 avg) on a career-high 18 carries and scored on a 3-yard TD run, while
Lamont Brown III led the Bears ground attack with a season-high 75 yards (6.8 avg) on 11 carries with a fumble and was named the Chicago Football Classic MVP.
• Senior
Deshaun Summers posted his first interception of the season when he picked off Howard quarterback Kalen Johnson in the third quarter. It marked his eighth career interception. Redshirt sophomore
Cravon Rogers made his third career start at strong safety and finished with four tackles.
• Junior
Greg Gibson led the Bears defense with a season high eight tackles.
• Senior linebacker
Joel Scott harassed the Bison all night by recording three tackles for loss, a forced fumble, a pair of QB hurries and a sack. The Bears also had six separate defenders record four total tackles.
• Redshirt junior
Andrew Mitchell recorded his first sack of the season. He also had a pair of tackles for loss and a quarterback hurry.
• On special teams, junior
Chris Moller averaged 36.9 yards per punt, including a season-high 50-yarder. He also missed on a 29-yard field goal…his only attempt of the night.
Orlando Johnson had two kick returns for 45 yards, including a season-high 27-yarder.

• Morgan State’s offense totaled a season high 208 rushing yards and a season high 211 passing yards
• The Bears posted seven tackles for loss; seven hurries, three sacks and limited Howard’s offense to a pair of field goals. The Bears allowed a season low 106 rushing yards and 154 passing yards.
• On special teams, the Bears gave up an average of 19.3 yards per kick return.
• With the win, Morgan State increased its lead in the series against Howard to an overall record of 40-33-3. The Morgan State Bears have won 9 of the last 11 meetings against the Howard Bison since 2005.
