MORGAN STATE POSTGAME NOTES
• Thomas Martin’s 75-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter was not only the longest catch of his career, but it also marked the first touchdown of his career.
• Lamont Brown’s 3-yard touchdown run in the first quarter marked the 6th touchdown of his career.
• Lamont Brown’s 46-yaard touchdown reception in the second quarter marked the first touchdown reception of his career.
• Landen Malbrough’s 34-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter marked the first of his career.
• Robert Council threw a career-high three touchdown passes, including a 75-yard TD, the longest pass completion of his career.
• Morgan State posted 479 yards of total offense, it was the most yards the Bears have recorded since posting 515 yards against Hampton on Nov. 2, 2013.
• Lamont Brown recorded 124 rushing yards, it was the second time in his career that he’s reached 100 yards rushing … he registered a career-high 132 yards against Delaware State on Nov. 9, 2013.
• Lawrence Forbes punted a 55-yarder, it marked the 12th 50+ punt of his career. For his career he also has dropped 16 of 60 punts inside the 20-yard line
• The Bears had four players record double-digit tackles, led by Cody Acker who posted a career-high 19 stops.
• Donyae Olton recorded a pair of sacks … the first sacks of his career.
