As a Sophomore in 2014: started in 11 of 12 games played … set the school’s single season rushing record by leading the Bears with 1,408 yards (ranked No. 14 in FCS) … scored 15 touchdowns (13 rushing) … was named to the All-MEAC First Team … was on the Walter Payton Watch List … in his first career start at Holy Cross (Sept. 6), he carried the ball 20 times for 271 yards (a school all-time single game record) and scored a pair of TDs … he also posted 20 catches for 244 yards, including two TDs … gained 180 yards rushing on 20 carries in the 2014 season home opener against Bowie State (Sept. 13) … had 203 yards on 22 carries at Florida A&M (Oct. 4) … had a season best four (4) touchdown performance at Hampton, including three (3) rushing touchdowns on 19 carries for 67 yards and one (1) touchdown on seven (7) receptions for 107 yards … finished the season strong with a 120 yard performance on 21 carries at Richmond (Nov. 29) … averaged 117.3 yards rushing per game to finish 12^th in the NCAA … named BOXTOROW National Player of the Week for his performance at Florida A&M … honored by the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) as a two-time Player of the Week … two-time MEAC Offensive Player of the Week …

As a Freshman in 2013: finished the season with 390 yards on 99 carries, including a TD ... had 10 carries for 56 yards (5.6 apg) in his first collegiate game at Army (Aug. 30) ... gained 74 yards on 13 carries at N.C. Central (Oct. 19) ... ran for 43 yards on 11 carries against Norfolk State (Sept. 28) ... had a 55-yard run against Hampton (Nov. 2) ... 

High School: … standout athlete at Ginn Academy … he was an outstanding running back … 3^rd Team All Ohio … 1^st Team Northwest Ohio … MVP of the Senate 2012-2013 East vs. West All Star Game (scored 2 TD) … was an honor roll scholar athlete, graduated 3^rd in class with top honors overall … led his team to a 9-1 record his final season as a Tarblooder in 2013 ... 

Personal: son of Herb Walker Sr. and Robin Ward … born July 8, 1995 in Cleveland, Ohio … Herbert Jr. is very family oriented and is grateful that his parents have always been there as motivation pushing to be the best that he can be … academically finished 3^rd in his high school class … he graduated with a degree in sociology in Spring 2017.
