As a Junior in 2008...All-MEAC First Team selection...Played a significant role in making the Bears’ defenses one of the toughest in the nation...Started in all 12 games...Had 47 tackles (26 solo), 17 tackles for loss and 8 sacks...Forced four fumbles and had three pass breakups... Posted season-high 7 tackles with two sacks at Howard (10/18)...Scored two touchdowns as a fullback...

As a Sophomore in 2007...Started in 11 games...Accounted for 45 tackles (10 solo), recorded 8.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and two forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries...

As a Redshirt Freshman in 2006...Played well in his first season...Saw action in all 11 games...Finished as one of the team’s top tacklers...Racked up 29 tackles (16 solo) with three sacks...Had 4.5 tackles for a loss of 16 yards...Notched a forced fumble...Played a role in the success of the MEAC’s #1 ranked defense against the run...Finished season...

A Closer Look...Justin Lawrence was born June 19, 1987...Son of Elesea Lawrence...Cousin, Dwayne Delaney, is teammate for Morgan State Football...Played LB and FB for the Amelia Raiders under coach Terico Greenhowe...All-District and All-Region for four years... he was also voted a two-time All- State performer...Sociology major.
