BALTIMORE, Md. (Oct. 16, 2026) -- Morgan State football has announced its uniform combination for Saturday's showdown against Tennessee State, as the Bears look to spoil the Tigers' homecoming celebration.
The Bears will take the field in blue helmets, white jerseys, and gray pants when they face Tennessee State on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 6:30 p.m. ET at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. The matchup will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
Morgan State last wore the white-and-gray combination in its season opener against North Carolina A&T on Aug. 29 in Greensboro, N.C. The Bears overcame an early deficit and delivered a resilient defensive performance to secure a 17-7 victory.
The Bears have won five of the last seven meetings with Tennessee State since 2012, including each of the last three matchups in 2018, 2019 and 2026.
Morgan State enters the contest at 5-1 overall, riding a five-game winning streak and looking to extend its run to six consecutive victories. A win would mark the program's longest winning streak since 1979, when the Bears finished 9-2 overall, captured a MEAC championship and earned a berth in the NCAA Division II Playoffs, where they fell to Alabama A&M, 27-7.
