Morgan State Athletics Announces Staff Updates

BALTIMORE, Md. - Morgan State Athletics has announced staff updates. Henry Boothe has been named the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations and Ramona Riley-Bozier has been promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Alumni Engagement, Donor, and Stewardship.

"We're thrilled to have Henry join our staff and to have Ramona transition over to the development side at Morgan State," said Vice President and Director of Athletics, Freeman-Patton. "They both bring unique strengths that will help us continue building momentum across our athletic department. I'm confident they will make an immediate and positive difference for our student-athletes, alumni, and our community."

He joins Morgan State from the University of Maryland where he most recently served as Associate Director of Facilities, Operations, and Events. He spent six years in various roles with the Terps. While with the Bears, Booth will oversee the day-to-day administration of Facilities and Event Management, including working with assigned staff on the planning and implementation of all game operation activities and the management of all the special events in the athletic department venues.

"I am honored to join the Morgan State family," said Boothe. "I would like to thank AD Freeman-Patton and administration for the opportunity to join the team. I look forward to contributing to the positive momentum and helping elevate Morgan athletics to the next level."

Boothe earned his Master of Business Administration from Bowie State University. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Virginia Union University.

Riley-Bozier, a decorated student-athlete and head coach at the National Treasure, a Morgan State and MEAC Hall of Fame member, and one of the most accomplished coaches in any sport in the history of Morgan State athletics has transitioned into the development role, after previously serving as Assistant Director for Intramurals and Wellness.

In this role, Riley-Bozier will work closely with the alumni relations and development departments on campus, while elevating the athletics-donor relationship and creating meaningful opportunities that empower student-athletes and help the athletic department grow. Riley-Bozier will continue to be the athletics liaison for the Morgan State Varsity 'M' Club.

"Morgan State has always meant more to me than just a place—it has been like a home," said Riley-Bozier. "From my early days as a student-athlete to 33 years spent on the sidelines as a coach, this community has shaped my leadership and sense of purpose. Being promoted to this new role is a great honor, and I am thankful to our Director of Athletics for trusting me with it. I look forward to strengthening alumni relationships, increasing donor involvement, and advancing initiatives that support the long-term success of our university's rich tradition."
