The Bears will look to bounce back from their shocking 3-1 loss at Norfolk State on Friday when they return home to a place where they have won four of its last five matches.

Morgan State would like nothing more than to avenge its five-set loss to the Bison earlier this season, while ruining the close of Howard's homecoming events by handing the Bison their second loss in as many matches.

Howard leads the all-time series, 49-41 and has won 12 straight over the Bears, with 10 of those victories coming by way of a sweep. The Bears' last victory over Howard was a 3-1 win at Howard (3/18/21).                                                                                                                                                                                 Â
Morgan State (8-10, 5-3 MEAC) is coming off a 3-1 loss at Norfolk State on Friday. The loss ended a three-match winning streak for Morgan State and was the Bears' sixth loss out the last eight meetings against the Spartans.

Mya Karrick, who had a double-double with 15 assists and 14 digs, both team highs.Â
Isabelle Brown added 11 assists andÂ
Daniela Ferreira led Morgan with seven kills.

Morgan State finished with 42 kills but committed 28 attack errors for an attack percentage of .109. The Spartans recorded a .270 hitting percentage with 46 kills and 15 errors.

Howard (11-8, 5-3 MEAC) was dealt a 3-2 loss at league leader Coppin State on Thursday evening after holding a 2-0 lead.

Rya McKinnon finished with 18 kills and 14 digs to record a double-double and added four blocks in the loss. Leah Reeves also had a double-double with a match-high 46 assists and a team-high 15 digs. Kristen Dear totaled a match-high seven blocks.
