BALTIMORE, Md. (August 20, 2024) — Morgan State University Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Medicine, Katie Olenek, has announced the appointment of Dominique Dockins as an Athletic Trainer. Dockins brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the university

Dockins, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, joins Morgan State University from Boston College, where she held the position of Football Resident Athletic Trainer for two years (2022-24). During her tenure at Boston College, she was entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities, including providing comprehensive medical care to student-athletes and collaborating with medical professionals to ensure the well-being of the football team. She earned her master's degree in Sports Administration in 2023.
Dockins is a 2020 graduate of West Virginia University where she received his B.S. degree in Athletic Training and minor in Africana Studies. While pursuing her degree, Dockins gained invaluable hands-on experience as a volunteer assistant athletic trainer at West Virginia University. She worked closely with student-athletes from various sports, including: football, men & women's basketball, softball, baseball, acrobatics & tumbling, rowing, soccer and wrestling.
