DURHAM, N.C. (May 14, 2024) – All tickets for the 2024 NCAA Softball Durham Regional are now on sale.
The Duke Softball Stadium offers two types of seating: Grand Stand Seating for $13 and Standing Room Only Seating for $8. Currently, only $8 standing-room tickets are available online. These tickets grant access to all games on their respective days, including games when Morgan State is not playing. When Morgan State is playing, the area next to the MSU Dugout will be reserved for MSU fans with Grand Stand Tickets. All tickets can be purchased using the link HERE. Stadium map HERE.
Guests with Standing Room Only seats can bring in a foldable lawn chair. Pictures of the venue are attached for reference.
Morgan opens its NCAA Championship run with a 2:30 p.m. game against host Duke on Friday. South Carolina faces Utah at Noon to open action in the Durham Regional. The regional is a double-elimination format.
MSU won its second-ever MEAC softball title on Saturday with a 6-0 win over Coppin State in the if-necessary game in the championship round of the conference tournament. The Bears boast MEAC Player of the Year and MEAC Softball Championship Outstanding Performer Victoria Fletcher and Co-Coach of the Year Larry Hineline.
Duke (47-6) has five All-ACC performers, including Claire Davidson and Jala Wright were unanimously voted the ACC Player and Pitcher of the Year, respectively, while Aminah Vega was named the Defensive Player of the Year. Head Coach Marissa Young was tabbed the Coach of the Year for the first time in her career. All four major awards were the first in program history. The Blue Devils claimed the program's second-ever ACC Softball Championship on Saturday, May 11, with a 6-3 victory over Florida State University.
