Morgan Falls To South Carolina State In MEAC Round-Up

CARY, N.C. (March 23, 2024)--The Morgan State women's tennis team took on defending Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) champion South Carolina State on Day 2 of the MEAC Round-Up. The Lady Bears would drop a 7-0 decision to the Lady Bulldogs on Saturday at Cary Tennis Park.
 
Morgan State fell to 2-11 overall, 1-1 in the MEAC, while S.C. State improved to 8-3, 2-0 MEAC.
 
The Lady Bulldogs, who swept all three doubles contests, held a 1-0 advantage after doubles play. S.C. State then captured all six singles matches for the 7-0 victory.
 
Next Up: The Lady Bears will close out the MEAC Round-Up with their final match on Sunday, March 24 when they take on host North Carolina Central at 12 p.m.
