2022 MSU Football Schedule Announced

Homecoming is scheduled for Oct. 8 versus Norfolk State.

BALTIMORE, Md. (February 3, 2022) -- Morgan State's 2022 football schedule has been announced and it features games against Georgia Southern and HBCU national defending champion South Carolina State, including a homecoming matchup against Norfolk State.
 
Morgan will open the 2022 season with games on the road in consecutive weekends with an FBS matchup against the Georgia Southern Eagles in Statesboro (Ga.) on Sept. 3, followed by the 'Battle for Greater Baltimore' hosted by the Towson Tigers on Sept. 10.
 
Morgan State begins a 3-game home stretch at Hughes Stadium when they open their home slate on Sept. 17 against the Sacred Heart Pioneers. After their only open date of the season on Sept. 24, Morgan will host a matchup with the Virginia University of Lynchburg Dragons on Oct. 1.  The Bears will take on the Norfolk State Spartans for Homecoming on Oct. 8 to open Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference action. 
 
The Bears then travel to play the North Carolina Central Eagles on Oct. 15 before stepping out of conference to face the Delaware Blue Hens in Newark (Del.). Morgan returns to Baltimore to host the South Carolina State Bulldogs on Oct. 29.

Morgan will have road trips to face the Stoney Brook Seawolves on Nov. 5, followed by the Delaware State Hornets on Nov. 12, before closing the regular-season at home against the Howard Bison (Nov. 19).
