BALTIMORE, Md. (Jan. 19, 2021)-The Morgan State University women's bowling team had two players rack up honors for the 2019-20 season from the National Collegiate Bowling Coaches Association (NCBCA) for their performance on the lanes and in the classroom.
Sophomore
Aliya Adams, Hyattsville, Md./Maret School and
Touri Holmes, Piscataway, N.J./Edison High School both earned NCBCA Scholastic honors by earning over a 3.5 GPA in their collegiate studies for the 2019-20 academic year.
"Aliya and Touri are two bright examples of an entire team of dedicated and high achievers in the classroom. Both push themselves to the fullest extent in their classwork to achieve great things," said Morgan State head coach
Thomas Falbo. "They have become an inspiration for their teammates. As an example, the entire team exceeded a 3.7 GPA in the 2020 Fall semester. I'm proud of both Aliya and Touri of their NCBCA honors."
