Morgan State Athletics Launches the Morgan Bear Club

New philanthropic structure designed to increase support for Morgan student-athletes and athletic department

BALTIMORE, Md. (November 25, 2020) –Morgan State University Department of Athletics has announced the launch of a new philanthropic structure, the Morgan Bear Club. The move is aimed to increase philanthropic engagement and support for Morgan State's over 300 student-athletes and 14 varsity sports.

The Morgan Bear Club will serve as the overarching umbrella where all giving to Morgan State Athletics will occur, representing the Athletics Excellence and Sport-Specific Funds. Together, members of the Morgan Bear Club will provide invaluable support for Morgan student-athletes, honoring the lasting educational and athletic legacy of Morgan State University.

 GROWING THE FUTURE

Gifts to Morgan Athletics and the Morgan Bear Club will support student-athlete scholarships, academic resources, sports medicine, leadership programming, mental-health and wellness service, nutrition, enhanced facilities and sport-specific operational budgets. Every contribution will have a positive impact on the Morgan State academic and student-athlete experience.
