BALTIMORE, Md. (Jan. 28, 2020)-The Morgan State women's tennis team dropped its first road contest of the season on Sunday, falling to Delaware, 5-0 at the Delcastle Tennis Center in Wilmington, Del.

The Lady Bears (1-1) would win the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead, but then lost all five played singles matches. Morgan State earned a No. 6 doubles victory by default for its second point of the evening.

Morgan State's No. 2 doubles team of Stefania Moyisadi and
Ana-Lei Kalawe earned a 6-1 victory over Delaware's Caragh Courtney and Isabella Montana. The Lady Bears captured the doubles point when
Dana Santiago and
Anabel Torrente were awarded a win by forfeit at No. 3.

In singles action, the host Blue Hens (1-0) would win matches 1-5 for the victory. Morgan State's second point of the match came at the No. 6 spot, when Kalawe was awarded a win by forfeit.

The Lady Bears return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 28 when they travel to Washington, D.C. to take on George Washington at 10 a.m.
