Morgan State improved its record to 5-4 overall and extended to a four-match winning streak.
"We played well today, and picked up right where we left off about a month ago," said MSU coach
Matthew Townes. "I think if we improve on a few things we will be in a great position at the end of the season."
Kharchev defeated Hoffarth, 6-4, 6-1, at No. 1 singles, and Ramakrishnan beat Gates, 6-4, 7-5, at No. 2. Rawal got past Glezer, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 3, and Ceylan beat Gower, 6-3, 6-2, at No. 4. Lopez topped Fitzmaurice, 6-2, 6-3, at No. 5, and Gupta was a 6-3, 6-2 winner over Cash at No. 6.

Loyola's (1-2) Skyler Gates and Matt Fitzmaurice were 6-0 winners at No. 1 doubles for the Greyhounds over
Sebastian Lopez and
Shrey Gupta, but it was the only match the Greyhounds claimed.
Arjun Ramakrishnan and Sergei Kharchev topped Benny Glezer and C.J. Cash, 6-3, at No. 2 doubles, and
Oguzhan Ceylan and

"Loyola is a good team and I thought we might come out a little flat because of our break; I was wrong and couldn't be happier about it."
Morgan State will look to extend its four-match winning streak Monday (March 18) when it travels to Durham to face the Eagles of North Carolina Central.
