Morgan State Set to Welcome First Members of 2020 Signing Class

BALTIMORE, Md. (December 19, 2019) – The Morgan State University football program capped off its early period of National Signing Day on Wednesday, announcing the signatures of six future Bear football student-athletes.

It marks the first class of recruits signed by head coach Tyrone Wheatley.

Wednesday's crop of signees includes two linebackers, one running back, one fullback, one quarterback and one defensive tackle. Three states are represented, with three players coming from Michigan, one each from North Carolina and Georgia.

Morgan State finished the 2019 season with an overall record of 3-9, 2-6 in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play, including an impressive home victory against #14 North Carolina A&T.
