Ramakrishnan Named MEAC Tennis Player of the Week

NORFOLK, Va. (Jan. 31, 2018)—Morgan State junior Arjun Ramakrishnan was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Ramakrishnan (5-11, Jr., Chennai, India) defeated Drexel's Hamza Laalej 7-6, 1-6, 5-2 in the No. 1 singles position this past weekend, accounting for one of the Bears' three victories against the Dragons.

The Bears will return to the court when they head to James Madison on Saturday, February 17. First serve is set for 9 a.m.
