Roi Wallace tied a career-high 50 assists and fellow sophomore 
Jasmin Hubbard tied a career-high 22 digs, as the Lady Bears defeated host Delaware State, 3-1 (25-18, 20-25, 25-20, 25-18) in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Northern Division contest on Sunday afternoon at Memorial Hall.
 
Wallace, who last recorded 50 assists earlier in the season against Evansville (9/1), added nine digs against the Lady Hornets, falling shy of a double-double on Sunday. Hubbard previously set her career-high 22 digs against Bethune-Cookman (10/16/16).
 
The win allowed the Lady Bears to complete a season series sweep of Delaware State for the sixth consecutive year and improve to 45-14 all-time in the series. Morgan State also extended its winning streak over the Lady Hornets to 13 straight.
 
Morgan State (6-17, 5-5 MEAC), winners of three of its first four league matches, received double-doubles by 
Cristen Coryatt and 
Natashia Barker. Coryatt, who hit for a .406, finished with match-high 17 kills and had 11 digs, while Barker tallied 11 kills and 13 digs.
 
The Lady Bears hit .246 for the match and recorded 54 kills. Morgan State recorded double-digit kills in all four sets, including a high of 17 kills and .455 hitting in Set 1.
 
Delaware State 3-23, 3-7 MEAC) was led by Sabina Szmajduch's 12 kills and 10 digs. Alliyah McBean finished with 20 digs and Gabriella Enriquez totaled 29 assists.
 
Both teams collected 6.0 blocks for the match. The Lady Hornets got four blocks from Kiera Holtzclaw and three from Szmajduch. 
Monette Daniels led Morgan State with a match-high five blocks.
 
Morgan State will close out its regular season road schedule on Friday, Nov. 10 when it travels to the Nation's Capital to take on Howard. First serve is at 7 p.m. at Burr Gymnasium.
