MEAC Tournament Bracket
BALTIMORE, Md. (Nov. 13, 2016)-The Morgan State volleyball team returns to the court this Friday, when it takes on Bethune-Cookman in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) quarterfinal match. First serve is a 10 a.m. at the William P. Hytche Athletic Center on the campus of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

The Lady Bears (7-20), who enter the match-up as the No. 3 seed out of the northern division and the No. 2 seeded Wildcats (9-20) out of the southern division, met in last year's semifinal round with Bethune-Cookman earning a 3-0 victory.

Morgan State leads the all-time series against B-CU, 14-6 and holds a 4-3 lead over the Wildcats in MEAC Tournament action. However, B-CU has won the last three tournament meetings. The Wildcats have won two straight and four of the last six meetings against Morgan State.

The two teams met this season for a rare regular season meeting and Bethune-Cookman swept the Lady Bears on Oct. 16 in Baltimore.

Keana Browne, who finished with a team-high 222 kills and a team-best 56 blocks.
Natashia Barker recorded 219 kills and 215 digs, which each rank second on the team. Jasmine Hubbard concluded the regular season with 264 digs, while

Bethune-Cookman was paced by Alana Handy, who led the team in kills with 317 and digs with 266. Phylecia Armstrong collected 210 kills and led the way with 100 blocks. Phalen Clark had 546 assists and J'nai Higgens accounted for 409. Â Â
