GAINESVILLE, Fla. (April 5, 2014)-The Morgan State women's outdoor track and field team closed out the 2014 Pepsi Florida Relays on Saturday with three relay events at Percy Beard Track at James G. Pressly Stadium on the campus of the University of Florida.
 
The Lady Bears' 4X100 meter relay team ran a season-best time of 46.33 to finish 35th, while the 4X400 meter relay team also set a season-best time on Saturday, finishing 24th with a time of 3:42.23. The 4X200 meter relay squad placed 16th with a time of 1:38.11.
 
On Friday, Ishakeema Swain broke the school record in the 1500m with her time of 4:38.54 to place 32nd.
 
Morgan State will return to the track this Friday, April 11 at the Coppin Open, and will then travel to Fairfax, Va. on Saturday, April 12 to participate in the George Mason Open.
