Morgan State University Athletics

2013-2014 (Sophomore) As a sophomore, Tere was a MEAC indoor qualifier in the 400 and 800 meters. She placed 5^th in the 400m with a time of 56.54 and 4^th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:13.93. She also ran the 800 meters on the DMR relay which placed 3^rd overall and she was member of the qualifying 1600m relay. Tere was an outdoor MEAC qualifier in the 400m, 800m, and 1600m relay. She placed 3^rd overall in the 800m with a time of 2:11.49. She also was a member of the 1600m relay team which placed 2^nd with a time of 3:40.74 and she was an outdoor ECAC qualifier in the 400m dash.
 
2012-2013 (Freshman): Cooley was a MEAC qualifier in the 400m and 1600m relay during the outdoor season. She also was a member of Morgan State’s Cross Country team and received Rookie of the Year award.
 
High School: Tere Cooley was a four year lettered varsity track runner. She was a four time state qualifier in the 1600m relay and a two time state qualifier in the 400m. She placed 4^th  in the 400m at the 2012 Michigan State Championship with a time of 57.4s. She also was regional and conference champion in the 400m her senior year. Tere ran on the regional and state qualifying team for Grand Blanc High School’s Cross Country team as well. In addition she was awarded most improved and most valued player of the well.
 
Personal: Born June 28, 1994…Daughter of Lawrence Cooley and Teressa Morris…Siblings are Steven Cooley, Christine Love, Brandon Eccelston, Charlene Cooley, and Lori Cooley…Hobbies: Enjoys talking about Jesus, reading, mountain climbing, singing, and working out and listening to music.
