BALTIMORE, Md. – Stevie Taylor converted a 3-point play with 3 seconds remaining to help lift Ohio to a 65-62 victory against Morgan State on Wednesday night.

Morgan State senior
Anthony Hubbard scored on a putback to tie the ballgame at 62 apiece with 38 seconds left. It turned out to be just enough time for Ohio.

Following a Bobcat timeout, Taylor attacked the basket with 10 seconds remaining, and finished with a layup and was fouled in the act by
Justin Black.  He stepped to the line and converted the free throw to give Ohio the win.

Ohio was led by Maurice Ndour who scored five of his team-high 13 points down the stretch, while Javarez Willis added 11.

Justin Black and
Ian Chiles paced the Bears with 17 points each. Chiles also added a season-high eight rebounds and four blocked shots.

The Bears shot 37 percent (22-of-59) from the field, 46 percent (14-of -30) from the free throw line and outrebounded the Bobcats 43-37.

The final 4:30 saw three ties and three lead changes. Ohio didn't grab the lead for good until a 3-pointer by Ndour at 3:09. Ndour scored seven of his 13 points in the second half and most of those late -- he followed the 3 with a jumper at 1:59 to break a 60-60 tie before fouling out.
