BALTIMORE, Md. (July 12, 2012)-Former Lady Bear volleyball player
Kylin Ellison is heading to Maribor, Slovenia to take part in the 2012 Women's Firesale & Exposure camp in hopes of getting signed to play professionally in Europe.
The tour, which takes place August 10-19 will consist of a three-day training camp (Aug. 11-13), followed by day trips (Aug. 14-18) to play various teams in Slovenia, Croatia and Austria. The goal of the Firesale is to find jobs for players at the conclusion of the tour to play professionally in a 7-9 month European season.
Ellison, who last season joined the Morgan State squad for her senior season after transferring from Cal State East Bay, finished with 112 digs, 46 assists, 12 service aces, four blocks and three kills as a Lady Bear. Ellison graduated from Morgan State this past May with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
