NCAA East Preliminary List
BALTIMORE, Md. (May 19, 2011)-The NCAA released its declaration lists for the upcoming men's and women's East and West Track & Field Preliminary Rounds this afternoon and Morgan State has five athletes declared.
Morgan State has one from the women's team and four from the men's team heading to the preliminaries. Junior Tanisha Kendrick is the lone Lady Bear on the list and will compete in the 400 meter dash. Juniors Calvin Dascent (200 m) and Trey Charles (400 hurdles) will also team up with Jordan Higgs and Carbinere Whyte on the 4X400 relay team.
The NCAA East Preliminary Round gets underway next Thursday, May 26 through Saturday, May 28 at E.C. Billy Hayes Track at the Robert C. Haugh Track & Field Complex in Bloomington, Ind.
