Ekundayo Sogbesan helped the Lady Bears 4X200 relay team claim the ECAC Penn Relays title.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (April 30, 2011)–The Lady Bears Women's outdoor track and field team competed over the weekend at 117th running of the Penn Relays, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania against teams from all around the country and reminded them not to count Morgan out.
On the track, the Lady Bears took first place in the 4x200 ECAC relay with a time of 1:36.53 beating Penn State (1:36.56). The squad which consisted of Teyanna Green, Britney Wattley, Tanisha Kendrick, and Ekundayo Sogbesan also teamed up to take second-place in the 4x100 ECAC relay with a time of 45.88.
Lady Bear Monae Waller finished in the top 15 in the high jump Eastern championship, finishing 11th place with a jump of 1.68m (5-6).
The Lady Bears will compete this weekend in the 2011 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) track and field championship in Greensboro, N.C, hosted by North Carolina A&T.
