BALTIMORE, Md. (April 2, 2010)—Morgan State defeated crosstown rival Coppin State, 6-1 in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) women's tennis match on Friday afternoon at Clifton Park Courts. The victory ended a three-match losing skid for the Lady Bears.
Morgan State (5-11, 2-3 MEAC) won the No. 2-No. 6 singles matches and swept all three doubles matches to earn the doubles point for the win.
The Lady Bears return to action on Saturday, when they host Hampton in a MEAC match at Clifton Park Courts. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
