UMBC Defeats Morgan in Crosstown Rival, 7-0

PIKESVILLE, Md. (Feb. 13, 2010)—The Morgan State Lady Bears returned to action for the first time since Jan. 24, and dropped a non-conference match against local foe the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) on Saturday evening at the Baltimore Fitness & Tennis Center.

 

UMBC (3-1), which won its third straight match, swept all the singles and doubles matches.

     

The Lady Bears, who fell to 0-4 on the season, will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 20, with a non-conference match against Virginia State. First serve is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Baltimore Fitness & Tennis Center in Pikesville, Md.
