Opening Kickoff
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 6 at Dick Price Stadium in Norfolk, Va. There will be a live radio broadcast of the game on WEAA, 88.9 FM. Norfolk State (3-5, 2-4) defeated Howard 10-9 during the Bisons' Homecoming at Greene Stadium in Washington, D.C.  Morgan State (4-4, 3-2 MEAC) enters Saturday's game fresh off of a 31-17 loss against Florida A&M on Oct. 30th during the Rattlers' Homecoming festivities. The loss dropped Coach Donald Hill-Eley's record to 46-52 in his 9th season.

• The Bears and Spartans will meet on the gridiron for the 23rd time since 1965. Norfolk State leads the series 12-10.
• MSU won the first matchup in 1965 by a score of 33-0; NSU has won three straight against the Bears, including a 31-23 win at Hughes Stadium on Nov. 7, 2009.

• Sophomore running back David Brown has been coming on strong for the Bears ever since the coaching staff began giving him more touches. The Baltimore product leads the Bears ground attack with 282 yards on 43 carries, including a touchdown.
Delonte Williams was sacked four times and threw an interception late in the 4th quarter that was returned for a touchdown during the Bears disappointing 31-17 loss during Florida A&M's Homecoming celebration at Bragg Memorial Stadium.
Reshaude Miller is one of the most exciting young players in the league ... the junior saftey is the team's third leading tackler (43) has collected tackles four interceptions so far this season.

What Can Brown Do For You?
 
Sophomore running back David Brown is quickly becoming one of the top running backs for Morgan State. On Saturday, he had an outstanding performance against Florida A&M. Brown, who was inserted as a starter for the first time in his career, gained 124 yards on 17 carries and became the first Bear to eclipse the 100-yard rushing mark this season.
Brown has been coming on strong throughout the season and is currently leading the Bears ground attack by averaging 6.6 yards per carry. The Baltimore product has 43 carries for 292 yards and has one touchdown so far this season.

Morgan State has been selected to play on ESPNU when the Bears matchup against MEAC defending champion South Carolina State on November 11th. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Hughes Stadium. In Donald Hill-Eley's ninth year at the helm of the Bears, this will mark the fourth football game ESPNU has televised and it will be the second time ESPNU has broadcast from Hughes Stadium. ESPNU televised Morgan State's 14-7 win against Howard at Hughes Stadium on October 15, 2009.
