Opening Kickoff
Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 30 at Bragg Memorial Stadium in Tallahassee, Fla. There will be a live radio broadcast of the game on WEAA, 88.9 FM. Florida A&M (4-3, 3-1) came back to drop Norfolk State 17-13 at the Spartans' Homecoming on Saturday in Norfolk, Virginia. Morgan State (4-3, 3-1 MEAC) enters Saturday's game fresh off of a down-to-the-wire 34-24 homecoming win against Delaware State on Oct. 23rd. The victory improved Coach Donald Hill-Eley's record to 46-51 in his 9th season.

HOMECOMING FLASHBACK to Nov. 11, 2008 -- TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – With 16 seconds remaining in the ballgame, James Meade was sent in for a 39-yard field goal. Florida A&M used its final timeout of the game to try and “ice” the preseason All-MEAC kicker, but the senior stepped up and kicked it through the goal posts to help give the Bears a 13-10 win in front of 16,205 fans in attendance to celebrate the Rattlers' homecoming.
The win improved the Bears record to 6-3 overall and they are tied with Hampton for second place at 4-1 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC). Morgan State also extended its winning streak to four games, the longest winning streak since Donald Hill-Eley's took the helm of the Bears in 2002.

Pick Six Club
DB Reshaude Miller and Nico Scott are members of an exclusive club this season, it's called the PICK SIX CLUB. Miller returned an interception 89 yards for a touchdown during MSU's win at the New York Urban League Classic in New Meadowlands Stadium on Sept. 25. Scott had a 44 yard pick returned for a touchdown against Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 2. The duo have both collected a pair of INTs this season and rank among the MEAC leaders in passes defended. MSU also ranks 6th in the league in pass defense (154.9/g) and leads the league with 12 INTs.

Morgan State has been selected to play on ESPNU when the Bears matchup against MEAC defending champion South Carolina State on November 11th. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Hughes Stadium. In Donald Hill-Eley's ninth year at the helm of the Bears, this will mark the fourth football game ESPNU has televised and it will be the second time ESPNU has broadcast from Hughes Stadium. ESPNU televised Morgan State's 14-7 win against Howard at Hughes Stadium on October 15, 2009.

Up Next
After Saturday's contest the Bears will travel to Norfolk (Va.) to face the Norfolk State Spartans on Nov. 6 at Dick Price Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. Norfolk State has defeated the Bears in their last three meetings and currently leads the series 12-10 since 1965. The game will mark the last road game of the season for the Bears.
