Ivanti Bush finished the day with 11 kills and 11 digs in the loss at Delaware State.
DOVER, Del. (Oct. 18, 2009)-Cassandra Joyner tallied a match-high 13 kills and added 13 digs to record a double-double while Erica Tajchman had 10 kills to lead host Delaware State to a 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-19) sweep of Morgan State on Sunday in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference North Division match Sunday afternoon at Memorial Hall.
Delaware State (11-13, 3-1 MEAC) which finished the match hitting .324 with 47 kills on 102 attempts and 14 errors, also recorded 10 service aces with Ashley Herman and Tajchman recording three aces each. Morgan State, which fell to 6-18, 1-3 MEAC, collected 33 kills on 90 attempts for a hitting percentage of .267, while committing nine errors and had just one service ace.
Morgan State's Ivanti Bush notched her second double-double of the season, finishing with 11 kills and 11 digs, both team highs. Erin Cox added eight kills, Cheryl Savoy added 10 digs and Christa Rogers finished with 26 assists.
Morgan State returns to action on Friday, Oct. 23, when they play host to Hampton in a MEAC match at 7 p.m. at Hill Field House.
