Tyler Starr

Tyler Starr came to Morgan State University in the fall of 2023 and will be entering his second year as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.

After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Central Florida, Tyler was a volunteer with the strength staff at the University of North Florida in the fall of 2020 and then went to volunteer with football at the University of Central Florida in 2021. Afterwards, Tyler went back to the University of Central Florida and earned a Master’s of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2023.

Before finishing graduate school, Tyler volunteered with the strength staff at Flagler College and helped out with women’s lacrosse, women’s basketball, and baseball.

Tyler is a native of Ashburn, VA and holds a CSCS and USA Weightlifting Level 1 certifications.
