Richard Reddix Jr. is an accomplished collegiate football coach with nearly three decades of coaching experience and a proven record of developing championship-caliber offensive linemen and successful student-athletes.

He is entering his fifth season as Offensive Line Coach and his first year as the Chief of Staff at Morgan State University, where he continues to build physical, disciplined, and fundamentally sound offensive line play while mentoring young men on and off the field.

Before joining Morgan State in 2022, Reddix spent thirteen seasons at Bowie State University as Offensive Line Coach and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach. A proud Bowie State alumnus, he also served the Bulldogs during two previous coaching stints, holding roles that included Assistant Head Coach, Recruiting Coordinator, Tight Ends Coach, and Offensive Line Coach.

Throughout his coaching career, Reddix has also coached at the College of DuPage, Fort Valley State University, and Montgomery College, helping develop numerous All-Conference and All-American players while earning a reputation for building tough, fundamentally sound offensive lines and establishing championship-level culture.

A former offensive lineman at Bowie State University, Reddix earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and has dedicated his career to developing leaders through football. His coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, accountability, relentless effort, and attention to detail, with a commitment to excellence in every aspect of the student-athlete experience.

He resides in Olney, MD, with his wife Ebony and their four children.  They have two girls, Tameia and Dallas, and two boys, Malachi and Richard III.
