Kenedi Canteen joined Morgan State Athletics in August 2023 as Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement. Canteen leads all marketing efforts for the Athletic Department.
A Morgan State Alum, Canteen graduated from the university in May 2023. She is currently seeking her MBA in Marketing through Morgan State's Graves School of Business, expecting to graduate in May 2026.
Canteen is no stranger to the Athletic Department as she was actively involved within the Sports Marketing team during her undergraduate career as a lead Intern. Through this internship she was able to intern with the institution's conference office (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) for the 2023 Basketball Tournament where she assisted with all special events and hospitality suites for internal and external stakeholders.
Now, she oversees a team of approximately 20 student volunteers and 10 interns who assist with game day operations and activities. Canteen demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and remarkable talents in planning, organizing, and coordinating new events and marketing initiatives within MSU’s Athletic Department to generate revenue and enhance the Bears' fan experience.
Canteen is a member of Women Leaders in Sports, an organization to develop and connect Women Leaders nationally to increase diversity in the sports industry. She is also a member of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), the largest Black Professional Network aimed to provide growth and educational opportunities for the next generation of Black professionals.
