Caleb Gibson

Caleb Gibson has joined Morgan State University as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
 
Most recently, Gibson served as a sport performance coach at Valparaiso University, where he worked primarily with the women’s volleyball and softball programs. He also assisted in the development of the football program from February 2025 through December 2025.
 
Before his time at Valparaiso, Gibson was a strength and conditioning graduate assistant at the University of Akron. Beginning in January 2023, he worked with the Zips’ football program before adding responsibilities with the baseball program in July 2024.
 
Gibson has gained additional experience through several internships, including stints with Utah State University football (summer 2022) and Liberty University football (spring 2021, summer 2021, and spring 2022). He also shadowed the Liberty University men’s lacrosse program from August to December 2021.
 
A native of Liberty University, Gibson earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2022, while also serving as a football student assistant from September 2019 to December 2022. He went on to earn a master’s degree in exercise physiology from the University of Akron in December 2024.
