At Morgan State Placed third at the MEAC indoor championships and sixth during the outdoor season.

High School...While in high school she was named Champion Girl during the 1997, 1999, 2000, and 2002 season. She placed third in the 100m hurdles at the Boys and Girls Championships.

Personal Born on February 22, 1985 in Kingston Jamaica...Daughter of Henry and Sharon Nelson...Major is political science...Is on the Dean's list and is a member of the Golden Key Honor Society.
