Biography
2010-2011 (Freshman): (Indoor) Placed 3rd in the Shot Put at MEAC Championships (13.92) and 8th at ECAC Championships (13.82)…(Outdoor) Placed 5th in the Shot Put at the Florida Relays (14.26), 4th at MEAC Championships (13.46), and 11th at ECAC Championships (13.62)…Finished 5th in the Javelin at MEAC Championships.
High School: Lettered in Swimming, Track and Field, and Golf at Old Mill Senior High. She swam for 13Yrs under USA Swimming in the state of Maryland and Competed for 7yrs in Track and Field for AAU and USATF. Went to Junior Olympics her first year competing (2004) in Track and Field and Qualified for Eastern Zones in swimming that same year. She has the a record in the shot put, 100 butterfly,100 breaststroke, 200 free/medley along with the 400 free relay at her high school and power lifting. She has competed at the state level in high school for track and field and swimming and has competed at the national level for USATF in 2006-2007. She was announced the strongest girl in her school in 2010 and she earned high point winner in swimming and best newcomer in track in 2009. Currently holds high school record in shot put, weight lifting, and swimming events.
Personal: Hobbies are playing the Saxophone, listening to music, and Swimming…Major is chemistry…Interns at Morgan State University for the MBRS RISE Program doing research in organic and analytical Chemistry.
