At Morgan State: Was the MEAC indoor champion in the shot put…A two-time outdoor runner-up in the shot put as a freshman and sophomore…Was an NCAA Regional competitor during the 2006 outdoor season…A member of the 2005 MEAC Outdoor championship team...Averaged 2.6 points and 2.6 rebounds as a freshman on the Morgan State women’s basketball team.
High School: Lettered in track and field and basketball, while at Kent-Merdian High…Was named the female athlete of the year in 2004, as well as the female field athlete of the year…Named first-team SPSL League in track and field…A two-time winner at the Pasco Invite…Record holder for the SPSL District in the shot put with a throw of 45’6 feet…The record holder for Kent-Merdian in the shot put and discus with throws of 45’9 and 130’1, respectively…Ranked fifth in the nation in the shot put during 2004…Was MVP of the track and field team in 2004…Helped the basketball team to a 15-0 record and a league championship during her freshman season…Was MVP of the team in 2004 and selected to the All-Star team in 2004…Graduated with a 3.5 GPA.
