Biography
Junior (2006-07): A MEAC qualifier during the indoor season, who placed second in the 1,600 meter relay…Was an ECAC qualifier with a personal best of 56.80. Placed sixth in the 1,600 meter relay at the ECAC indoor track and field championships.
Sophomore (2005-06): Was a MEAC qualifier during the indoor season…Ran in the 200 and 400 meter dashes and occasionally was a member of the 1,600 meter relay team…Was an ECAC qualifier and recorded a personal best in the 400 meter dash with a time of 55.81 during the outdoor season…Ran on the 1,600 meter relay and the 400 meter relay teams…Qualified for East Coast Regionals in the 1,600 meter realy.
Freshman (2004-05): Competed in the 200 and 400 meter dashes at the University of Mississippi, setting a personal best in the 200 with a time of 24.99.
High School: A four-year member of the track team at Westlake High…Helped the team to the State indoor and outdoor championships during her senior season…Was the indoor state champion in the 300 meter dash and runner-up in the 55 meter dash as a senior…Set a Southern Maryland Athletic Conference record in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.40…Was a part of the Wolverines’ state championship relay teams (4X100, 4X200, 4X400)…Earned the coaches award and team MVP honors twice…Also served as team captain.
